These Terms & Conditions govern the use, purchase and licensing of LangSpector Free and LangSpector Pro.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the LangSpector software, the LangSpector website and related services provided through analyses-web.com/langspector/.

By downloading, installing, purchasing, activating or using LangSpector, you agree to these terms where legally applicable.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not purchase or use LangSpector Pro.

LangSpector is a WordPress plugin designed to audit multilingual websites using Polylang.

The software identifies potential multilingual inconsistencies and presents them for review by the website administrator.

LangSpector is a read-only auditing tool. It is not designed to automatically correct, translate or modify website content.

Audit results are indicators intended to assist human review and should not be treated as a guarantee that every reported item is an error or that every possible issue will be detected.

4. LangSpector Free

LangSpector Free may be used without purchasing a LangSpector Pro license.

The Free edition provides the functionality described on the LangSpector website and within the plugin at the time of use.

Features may evolve over time as the software is developed, provided that applicable legal rights are respected.

5. LangSpector Pro license

Purchasing LangSpector Pro grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Pro functionality within the limits of the purchased license.

A license may be activated only on the number and type of installations permitted by the selected plan.

Current plans may include separate allowances for production and recognised test environments.

Unless explicitly authorised, a license key may not be resold, rented, publicly shared, distributed or used to provide unauthorised access to LangSpector Pro.

LangSpector Pro may be offered under several license plans, including:

• 1-site annual license
• 5-site annual license
• 25-site annual license
• Limited Founder Lifetime license

The current price, installation allowance and availability of each plan are those displayed on the Pricing page at the time of purchase.

All Pro plans provide access to the same Pro feature set unless otherwise clearly stated.

7. Annual subscriptions

The 1-site, 5-site and 25-site plans are annual subscription licenses unless otherwise indicated at checkout.

Where automatic renewal is enabled, the subscription may renew for another annual period using the payment method associated with the subscription.

You may cancel future renewal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal but does not normally shorten the license period already paid for.

The applicable renewal price is the price communicated for the relevant renewal, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

8. Founder Lifetime license

The Founder Lifetime license is a one-time purchase and is not an annual subscription.

It applies to the number of installations specified for that offer at the time of purchase.

The Founder offer is limited in quantity and may no longer be available once the published allocation has been sold.

“Lifetime” refers to the commercial lifetime of the LangSpector Pro product and service, not to the lifetime of any individual person, company, WordPress installation or domain name.

9. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed on the LangSpector Pricing page and at checkout.

Payments are currently processed through Stripe Checkout.

LangSpector does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in its license database.

Any taxes included or applied to a transaction will be shown according to the checkout configuration and applicable law.

10. Digital delivery

LangSpector Pro is a digital product.

After successful payment confirmation, the license key and information required to obtain LangSpector Pro are normally delivered electronically to the email address provided during checkout.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and retaining your license information securely.

11. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

Refunds, cancellations and applicable withdrawal rights are governed by the separate Refund Policy and by any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

Where consumer law provides a statutory withdrawal right for digital content, any loss or waiver of that right will apply only where the legal requirements for doing so have been properly satisfied.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Software updates

LangSpector may receive updates to improve functionality, compatibility, security or reliability.

Access to protected LangSpector Pro updates requires an eligible license.

Updates may modify, replace or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary for the development, security or maintenance of the software.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups before installing software updates on a production website.

13. Technical requirements and compatibility

LangSpector requires a compatible WordPress environment and an active installation of Polylang.

Minimum requirements and supported integrations may change as WordPress, PHP, Polylang and third-party plugins evolve.

Current requirements are published on the LangSpector website.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every WordPress theme, plugin, hosting configuration or custom modification.

14. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• maintaining backups of your WordPress website;
• reviewing LangSpector findings before making changes;
• protecting your license key and secure support links;
• using the software only on installations permitted by your license;
• maintaining a compatible and reasonably secure WordPress environment.

You remain responsible for all changes you decide to make to your website following a LangSpector audit.

15. Prohibited use

You must not knowingly:

• share or distribute a Pro license beyond the purchased allowance;
• attempt to bypass or interfere with the licensing system;
• use LangSpector or its services for unlawful purposes;
• attack, overload or attempt unauthorised access to LangSpector servers;
• redistribute LangSpector Pro as your own commercial product.

Open-source rights that may apply to individual software components remain unaffected.

16. Support

LangSpector provides support through its online ticket system.

Support may cover installation, licensing, operation and reproducible LangSpector issues.

Support does not include general WordPress administration, custom development, translation services or repair of unrelated third-party software unless explicitly agreed.

No guaranteed response time applies unless expressly stated in a separate agreement or support plan.

17. Service availability

Reasonable efforts are made to maintain the LangSpector website, licensing system, update service and support platform.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting failures, third-party services, internet connectivity or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

LangSpector Pro includes a limited offline license-verification grace period, but continuous availability of external services cannot be guaranteed.

18. Intellectual property

LangSpector, its branding, website content, documentation and proprietary commercial components remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Purchasing a license grants a right to use the software under these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the LangSpector brand, commercial service, documentation or associated intellectual property.

Rights granted under applicable open-source licenses remain governed by those respective licenses.

19. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

LangSpector is provided as an auditing aid. No software audit can guarantee detection of every multilingual, SEO, structural or content issue.

Language detection and automated checks may generate false positives, false negatives or findings requiring human interpretation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by changes made to a website solely because of an audit result without appropriate review, testing or backup.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or statutory rights where such limitation is prohibited by law.

20. Suspension or termination

A Pro license may be suspended or revoked where there is serious misuse, fraudulent activity, unauthorised distribution or a material violation of these Terms.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, an opportunity to resolve the issue may be provided before permanent termination.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

21. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated when LangSpector, its commercial model or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page together with its most recent update date.

Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already become legally binding where applicable law prevents this.

22. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection granted by the law applicable to them.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts determined under applicable law.
